Nartiel8k Not Working? Start Here

Three tests and about a minute will tell you which of five things is wrong, before you change a single setting.

Diagnosing an IPTV fault, shown as an HDMI connector under precise studio light

Three tests, about sixty seconds, and you will know which of five things is actually wrong. Work through them before changing any settings — most wasted evenings come from applying fixes to the wrong problem.

Run these three first

Test 1: does a second device work?

Play the same channel on a phone or another TV, on the same connection.

  • Works there → your account and the stream are fine. The first device or its app is the problem.
  • Fails on both → not the device. Keep going.

Test 2: does it work on mobile data?

Turn Wi-Fi off on your phone and try again.

  • Works on mobile, fails on Wi-Fi → your home network or ISP is blocking or throttling it.
  • Fails on both → your account or our server.

Test 3: is it everything, or one channel?

Try five channels from different categories.

  • One fails, rest are fine → that individual stream. Nothing at your end will fix it.
  • All fail identically → account, connection or device.
  • All buffer but eventually play → bandwidth, not a fault.

The two checks people always skip

Has the subscription expired?

An expired plan produces errors identical to a technical fault. If everything worked yesterday and you changed nothing, check your end date before troubleshooting. Nothing renews automatically here, so plans do simply stop.

Is another device already streaming?

A standard plan allows one stream at a time. A second device will be refused — and so will yours if a device was switched off at the wall without closing the app, leaving a session open on the server.

Close the app fully everywhere else, wait two or three minutes for the session to time out, then try again.

Fixing stuttering

  1. Use a cable. The single highest-impact fix. IPTV has almost no buffer, so brief wireless dropouts that go unnoticed elsewhere cause visible stalls.
  2. Reboot the router properly — unplugged for a full 60 seconds, not a quick power cycle.
  3. Pick a lower-quality version of the channel. If your line cannot sustain 4K, the FHD version of the same channel plays perfectly. See speed requirements.
  4. Raise the buffer size in your player’s settings. Slightly slower channel changes, far fewer stalls.
  5. Switch the decoder between hardware and software. Thirty-second test that fixes a surprising share of problems on cheaper boxes.

Sound but no picture, or picture but no sound

Symptom Cause Fix
Audio plays, screen black Video decoder cannot handle the format Disable hardware decoding
Picture plays, silent Surround audio track the device cannot decode Switch to a stereo audio track
Audio drifts out of sync Decoder timing Switch decoder, then raise the buffer

When it is genuinely us

Some faults you cannot fix, and recognising them quickly saves an evening:

  • One channel down while others work. That stream has failed at source. Tell us the exact channel name and we will move you to a backup.
  • Everything fails on every device including mobile data. Account or server.
  • Guide missing on the same channels for days. Unmatched channel IDs at our end.
What to send so it gets fixed fast

Your device and app, the exact channel name, whether other channels work at that moment, and whether it also fails on mobile data. That last detail alone eliminates half the possibilities, and it is the one people almost never include.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my Nartiel8k not working?

Run three tests first: try a second device on the same connection, try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, and try five different channels. Those three answers narrow it to one of five causes — the device, your network, your account, a single stream, or our server.

Nartiel8k worked yesterday and stopped today. What happened?

Usually either the plan reached its end date, since nothing renews automatically, or a session is stuck open on another device. Check your end date first, then close the app fully everywhere else and wait a few minutes.

Why does Nartiel8k work on mobile data but not my home Wi-Fi?

Your internet provider is blocking or throttling the traffic. That is filtering at the ISP rather than a fault with your subscription, which is why re-entering details never helps. A VPN or changing your DNS usually resolves it.

One channel is not working but the rest are fine. What do I do?

Nothing at your end will fix it, because that individual stream has failed at source. Send us the exact channel name and we will switch you to a backup version.

Why does the picture go soft during big matches?

Bitrate is being reduced under load, either by your connection or by server capacity. On our side we hold headroom back for exactly this, but a congested home line at peak hours produces the same symptom.

Why is my guide empty?

Most often because you are connected with an M3U link, which carries little or no guide data. It can also be that the guide has not finished downloading, or that your device clock and time zone are wrong. Ask us for Xtream Codes details instead.

Should I reinstall the app?

Not first. Delete the playlist inside the app, force-stop it, clear its cache and restart the device. That resolves nearly everything a reinstall would, without losing settings or retyping credentials on a remote.

How many devices can stream at once?

One at a time on a standard plan, though you can install it on as many devices as you like. A second simultaneous stream is refused, which often looks like a fault rather than a limit.
